The 100 Black Interns programme, initially aimed at the investment management sector, has launched its new initiative, 10,000 Black Interns, with Health Data Research UK leading the programme for the health data science sector. This ambitious project aims to transform the potential prospects of young black people in the UK by offering them internships within an extensive range of industries and sectors.
HDR UK is proud to be supporting this initiative from within the health data science community alongside the ten other sectors currently signed up. HDR UK will offer, through its partner organisations, internships for young black people across the UK covering a wide spectrum of organisations, from charities to biobanks, in order to make the internships as accessible for as large a group as possible. Internships will run across the summer of 2021.
The application process will be formally launched at the Alliance Symposium event on 1st December 2020, with information on how to apply also available that day.
